Acoustic Air Feed Hood for Supply Diffusers
Blocks noise that passes through air vents.
The Air Feed Hood covers the back of a supply air diffuser where it penetrates the ceiling. That opening is a direct path for voices to enter the shared plenum above the wall line. The hood closes the path while supply air keeps flowing to the room. Speech Guard Air Feed Hoods are made in the USA.
On supply openings, the Air Feed Hood completes what the G2 Plenum Return Silencer does on return grilles and Light Hoods do on recessed light fixtures. Together with Ceiling Tile Backers, they close the openings a conversation can take out of a room.
